The Story of the Sea HAT

Our newest HAT bringing us stories of the sea in a range of exciting new talks

Chaired by Steve George, one of the directors of Rushen Heritage Trust, the Story of the Sea HAT is dedicated to finding and tellingthe stories of the local fishermen and women, the 'Gutter Girls' and many other tales from the local community.

Their first event was in October 2016 when Captain David Clarke, Dessie Robinson and Michelle Heywood shared their own stories with almost a hundred people at a special evening of talks at the Falcon's Nest in Port Erin.

In 2017, the team plan to continue this series of talks - watch this space for more news!
